Transforming ugly spaces into "wow" places, one project at a time.

I may have finally found my calling! It only took 50 years! I love transforming space into place. Places where people feel good just walking in the door. Places where you can feel, do and be your best. Your surroundings have an important impact on your psyche and your qi (pronounced "chi" - your energy flow). Ugly dysfunctional spaces impede your creative flow, dampen your spirit and can be downright depressing! I love transforming a space into a personal sanctuary, a creative and productive environment, or a fun place for kids to learn and play (see the Little Red Schoolhouse mural on the murals page).

Challenge: Turn warehouse into geisha house!

This client bought out her competition and inherited an ugly white cold warehouse that was bleak and depressing. Talk about silk purses out of sows' ears!

Who could work in this space?!

One of the challenges with this space was the lack of a ceiling. The bare 2x4 tresses were the beginning of an idea. In Hawaii I had to hang fabric from my ceilings because the termites were so bad I needed to keep their fallout (read: poop) from raining on us. Amazing what you can do with fabric and a staple gun.
